Accessibility Statement

KarenAvila.health is working toward an inclusive experience for people who use different browsers, devices, input methods, and assistive technologies.

Technical target

Our current technical target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. This target guides design, development, testing, and ongoing maintenance; it is not a claim of legal certification.

Testing completed

We last reviewed the site on using:

  • Automated axe-core checks and code review across every first-party HTML route.
  • Browser-based navigation, responsive-layout, and representative tool checks in Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit.
  • Contact-form error, progress, failure, and success checks in Chromium.
  • Keyboard-only checks of navigation, the mobile menu, forms, sharing controls, and interactive tools.
  • Checks at 320 CSS pixels, 200% text resizing, increased text spacing, reduced motion, and forced colors.
  • Accessibility-tree review of headings, landmarks, links, form controls, names, and dynamic status messages.

Automated checks cannot find every accessibility barrier. Testing with NVDA and VoiceOver, and an independent accessibility review, have not yet been completed and are planned follow-up work.

Known limitations

We are not currently aware of a barrier that prevents use of a first-party page or tool, but the site has not yet completed external assistive-technology or legal review. We will update this statement when testing finds a limitation or additional verification is completed.

Report a barrier or request an alternative

If something is difficult to use, email [email protected]. Please describe the page, the task you were trying to complete, and the browser or assistive technology you were using if you are comfortable sharing that information. You may also request the information or service in an accessible alternative format.
